I've spent my whole life in Valley Center, and I owe that to a dream my dad chased here. Following his own grandfather's footsteps, he moved our family up from Orange County and bought a five-acre grapefruit grove, and he and my mom raised us among the citrus and avocado trees. Growing up on that land, I learned early how much care, patience, and skilled work it takes to turn a raw piece of ground into something that lasts and provides for a family.

That's really why I do what I do. I was finishing my business degree at Cal State San Marcos when real estate pulled me in — and what drew me was the same thing I'd watched my dad do with the grove. I've always loved homes: what they mean, how no two are alike, and how a bare piece of dirt becomes the place where a family builds a life — where birthdays and Christmas mornings happen, where kids learn to ride a bike in the driveway. Twenty years in, that still feels like the best work I could be doing.

My wife Adrienne and I married in 2008 and are raising our four kids here. Most of our weeks revolve around them — I coach their roller hockey and soccer, and we backpack together as a family whenever we can — and I still lace up for competitive roller hockey myself. We're part of the Valley Center Community Church family, and this whole region is home.

That's true well beyond Valley Center. Our office is a historic house in the heart of Old Escondido, and Escondido is every bit as much our home market — we sell throughout the city and across North County, from San Marcos and Vista to Fallbrook and Bonsall. I come from farmers and builders, and over the years I've managed spec builds, small subdivisions, and land development of my own, so I understand property beyond the sale. I can tell a buyer what a place could become — an ADU, a lot that could split, room to build — and tell a seller honestly which improvements will actually pay back at closing. That's the thinking behind our Cabrillo Concierge Pre-Listing Service, where we fund those high-return improvements upfront and you don't pay until your home sells.

More than anything, I want the people I work with to know they can trust me. I've spent two decades building relationships across this area and this business, and the folks I've worked with know I'll be straight with them and show up when it matters.
