I typically never take the time to write a review, but the service from Chuck Crist was so exceptional that it deserved a review and so much more! My boyfriend and I attended an open house in Valley Center that Chuck was showing, which is where we met him. He was very honest, attentive, and genuine. He did not pressure us into putting an offer on the house and was honest about some of the downfalls of the property. As a seller's agent, we really appreciated the fact that he represented his client while still respecting our concerns about the property. We ended up not putting in an offer on the house, and looked at another house in Valley Center. Chuck's professionalism, candor, and knowledge really stuck out to us so we asked him to be our realtor in putting an offer on the second house and ultimately purchasing our FIRST home! Being that this was our first time purchasing a house, we did not know anything about the process. Chuck was patient and took the time to explain everything to us so that we felt comfortable with this transaction the entire time. He listened to our comments and concerns and addressed them all in an exceptional manner. There was actually one major issue regarding the title report, which could have potentially made the transaction fall through. My boyfriend and I were really sad to think that we may not be able to purchase our dream home because of this. But Chuck went above and beyond to contact everyone who needed to be involved and resolved what we thought was impossible to resolve! Chuck was also very responsive and made himself available via email, phone, and text, even past business hours. He always returned our calls, texts or emails in record time and never took longer than several hours. Even if communication was not required, Chuck went out of his way to check in with us to see how we were doing and if we had any questions. When we had questions for our lender or escrow company, Chuck remained involved every step of the way and either addressed our questions or worked with our lender and escrow company to have an answer for us. When we met with Chuck at the house to get our keys after work, he was so thoughtful and bought us pizza for dinner so that we would not starve while moving things into the house. Even after the transaction concluded, Chuck remained in contact with us to see how our move was coming along and even set up an appointment to have our house re-keyed and our house cleaned prior to moving in! Chuck has personal references for just about anything and went out of his way to provide information about utility companies (water, propane, internet, cable, electric, etc.), tips on how to save money, and advice on how to manage our yard! I could go on about how wonderful my experience with Chuck was, and to say that his service was PERFECT is an understatement. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone. THANK YOU SO MUCH, CHUCK! You truly made our first home purchase easy and enjoyable.
I wanted to thank you again for the excellent service you and your staff provided the Tyndall Family Estate by selling my late aunt's home in R.B. I picked up the proceeds check from Fidelity National Escrow Co. yesterday and will be distributing the funds to the Estate's beneficiaries.
